CLASSES ARE NOW OFFERED AT THE PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING CENTER

Collin College Law Enforcement Academy classroom classes are limited to sworn (active law enforcement), representatives of law enforcement (employee of an agency/academy), honorably retired law enforcement, and individuals currently licensed by TCOLE (active license but not employed by a law enforcement agency). Firearms, defensive tactics, and reality based classes are limited to sworn (active law enforcement) and representatives of law enforcement (employee of an agency/academy). Proper identification may be requested for all classes.

BPOC (Basic Police Officer Certification) 

• • • Training as a peace officer at Collin College Law Enforcement Academy is a great way to start an exciting career.
• Students work with instructors who are experienced peace officers.
• Studies include topics that reflect real-life situations.
• We maintain relationships with area police agencies as prospective employers for graduates.
